Elisha's Success Story

Elisha George, a visually impaired student with a deep passion for storytelling and communication, has demonstrated remarkable resilience and dedication throughout his journey. As a Unite A-Level Scholars (2022-2024), he gained essential skills that shaped his personal and professional growth. During secondary school, he held leadership roles in the Unite Club, including Minister of Information and Entertainment and later Vice President, which strengthened his confidence and communication abilities. Graduating with Division 1.4, Elisha continued his development by writing articles, completing a fully sponsored computer course, and interning at the African School of Storytelling (AFRISOS), where he gained hands-on media production experience. His contributions to voiceover projects and participation in the Climate Change Media Project (CCMP) Bootcamp further enhanced his storytelling and advocacy skills. His dedication and achievements led to a prestigious sponsorship from the Mo Dewji Foundation, supporting his studies in Mass Communication at the University of Dar es Salaam. With a vision to become a journalist, Elisha remains committed to using media as a tool for change, inspiring others, and advocating for impactful causes.
